![]() Brigit is a Celtic triple-goddess, which means she represents three aspects of woman: the young virgin, the nurturing, loving mother and the crone, sage, wise woman. Brigit is a fiery goddess who tirelessly protects those who call upon her, and she’s the feminine counterpart to Archangel Michael’s warrior energy. This Goddess is all about standing up for what you believe in! Her message is ‘Don’t Back Down’. Brigit asks us - ‘be quite clear about your intentions. If you’re unclear, then confusion will lessen your power and force. Like a candle in the dark, be very clear and bright in what is acceptable to you in all situations. Make no mistake: I will guide and protect you. And yet, think of the unparalleled rise in your own viewpoint if you are to stand up for yourself, and speak up about your needs and your deepest truth! Now is the time to touch your power, for its heat and flame will ignite your passion, which will propel you forward in countless ways. Even in the face of fear, you can still stand up for your ideals and truth. Be unwavering, and make your stand today!’

![]() Now there is a word that scares some people! For some reason it conjures up images of witches gathered round a cauldron throwing in eyeballs, spider webs, and herbs all the while stirring faster and faster. Or it conjures an image of people naked in fields doing things no one understands. Yet we all have rituals we do every day and just don't realize it. Have you ever noticed that you probably get dressed the same way each day, one leg will always go into your pant leg first. It could be how you brush your teeth, or your hair. It might be in how you plate your food and eat it. Wine drinking usually has a ritual, even if it is only pick a bottle, open in, pour into a glass and sip or swig! Rituals are the way we do things and they become a ritual because we do them over and over. They become ingrained in our being and should not be frowned upon. Rituals are just one more unique way we are who we are. They allow us to do so many things without even thinking about them, they are just a part of us. Rituals are important in that they allow us to get to where we need to be. This past week I was having trouble sleeping. I was tired, but drifting off just would not come. Part of the reason is my bedding, which is about to be changed! I did put a nice soft cotton blanket at my feet because that was the part being bothered, and that eased it somewhat, but did not "fix" the situation. On Tuesday I came across a "sweet dreams" chant. Hmmm, I am going to try this I thought, and from that, I decided that a little Lavender essential oil on the bottoms of my feet wouldn't hurt either. So a ritual was formed. Soft cotton blanket for feet, rub lavender and another essential oil blend on soles of feet, get comfy, then say the "sweet dreams" blessing. Worked like a charm, three nights in a row... drifting off gently and sweet dreams included! Before you pooh-hoo something because it sounds different than what you are used to ... give it a try... you might just surprise yourself and start including it along with the other rituals you do by rote! ![]() random thought-form... this floated in as I was appreciating the wonderful day that it is. When things are not going exactly as one would like them to, a simple thing you can ask the universe is "this or something better". Meaning I would really like something better, and I am asking for signs and guideposts to follow to get to that place. However sometimes I need to stay in the current situation to work out the issue to my satisfaction. It is part of that thing called growth and evolution. I often have asked "this or something better", sometimes with much force and then I have waited for the signs that I have needed for the next steps. The outcome is about 30/70. The thought that came to me is "what if you loved what is", if I can get to a place where I totally love what is (meaning "this") than I would be in alignment with my higher self, the universe and the situation. "this" is often a really grungy place that I don't want to love or stay in and loving "this" could be difficult. I believe that the key truly is to love what is. If I think back on when I have asked "this or something better" I can see clearer that what tends to happen is I place it in the universes hand. I no longer stress and worry it to death, I allow it to have some space. When the "better" has not shown up, hmmm does it never not show up?, I have adapted and shifted within myself to figure out how to at least tolerate "this". Is not tolerance the first step towards love? Today I feel in alignment with all that is and it feels marvelous! ![]() Today I was asked to give an Angel Reading to the participants of Pathways to Wholeness Community, a spiritual sharing group that is hosted by Rev. Hope Suggit via Skype. While preparing before hand the angels gave me this; “Get your skiis shined up Grab a stick of Juicy Fruit The taste is gonna move ya Move you up Move you out The taste is gonna move ya when you pop it in your mouth Juicy Fruit - it's gonna move ya It's got a taste that gets right through ya Juicy Fruit - the taste is gonna move ya” The topic was about “faith” and what it means to each of us, how we surrender to faith, and well how I receive messages in bits and pieces is one way that I surrender and hold strong in my faith that the message will come from the oddest directions. The message was given to me during the brief meditation; “Just like the jingle get your tools out and shine them up. You have tools that help you to know faith, understand faith and will help you when you need faith. We the angels would like to remind you to call upon us and use us as one of your tools. We can help you have faith in every situation. Archangel Michael came along and said “remember you are safe and protected at all times. It is safe to have faith in yourself first, know that you can see yourself through any situation, you are strong enough. This faith is like the taste of the gum, it gets right through ya, and from there moves out to the situation, the universe, God, source and becomes part of you.” Faith is going to move ya. Move you forward. So shine up your tools, take them out each day and buoy your faith to create the best possible foundation each day and when the need arises it will be first nature and you will not have to be reminded to call upon it to see you through. Also this week the energies are going to be strong and you might feel sensitive to these energies. It might seem like nothing is going the way you expect. Surrender to the energies, allow them to come in and they will align with your being. Don’t fight against the energies, surrender to them and before you know it you will be in alignment with them and be swimming with the current once again. Use your tools of faith to surrender and know that you are safe, protected, and be the calm in the center of the swirling storm. Great things are about to happen and the more faith you have and can hold onto the greater the blessings will be.” This is not verbatim to what was given, this is what transpired when I sat down to type the message for the group. This was awesome!! It is an interactive discussion and sharing is encouraged. Hope is very easy going but also keeps things on track and moving along. The topic today was "faith" which was discussed as a group, a brief meditation followed by a wind up on Faith and then the floor was open to questions regardless if they were on the topic of faith or not. I believe this is going to be a marvelous - new energy community. Will you join with me in attending next week? If you want to join sign up through Skype, it is easy to join the group just send a message from Skype to wisewoman_pathways and she will include you in the group. Then next Sunday at 10 am PST have your Skype turned on and Hope will call the group and you just have to pick up. If you have any questions send please ask, I am sure Hope is open to any questions as well. Connect with Hope via www.wisewomanpathways.com |
